Falken EuroAll Season AS210 is a symmetrical directional tire designed for passenger cars and city SUVs, whose owners prefer not to spend time on the seasonal tire swap. The AS 210 is a 2018 model, created for the European market with its mild winter climate.
In the company’s model range, the Falken EuroAll Season AS210 replaced the EuroAll Season AS200 model, which in 2013 scored the first place in a comparative tire test performed by Autobild motoring magazine for all-season tires in size 195/65 R15.
Compared to its predecessor, the Falken AS210 has an 8% improvement in hydroplaning resistance and a 6% improvement in wet braking.
Thanks to the use of the Advanced 4D-Nano Design technology used in the development of the tread compound, the company’s tire technologists increased the expected mileage of the EuroAll Season AS210 model by 10%. In addition, the Nano-level optimization of interaction between the components of the tread compound made it possible to significantly increase the tire’s overall traction.
The V-shaped tread design of the Falken AS210 EuroAll Season tire with deeper grooves than those of the predecessor model, ensures quick evacuation of water from the contact area, maximizes hydroplaning resistance, and improves the tire’s wet and dry performance.
The zigzag 3D sipes, positioned at different tilt angles in respect to one another, improve traction, steering precision, and contribute to reducing braking distances demonstrated by this all-season model, including on snow.
One should mention yet another aspect of the use of 3D sipes. They optimize the structural stiffness of the tread, thus improving the stability of the Falken EuroAll Season AS210 on dry pavement.
The increased width of the contact spot of the Falken EuroAll Season model ensures greater safety when driving on snow-covered roads, while its optimized design allows the tire to maintain stable performance throughout its entire service life.
