Taiwan’s tire maker Maxxis, which recently presented Maxxis Premitra All Season AP3 tire together with its SUV version, announced the long-awaited launch of European-type tire named Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6, which was presented still back in 2016 at Reifen Show.
Maxxis claims that the winter tires of the Premitra line are characterized by efficient braking performance on snowy, icy, and wet pavements, as well as low rolling resistance. Their directional V-shaped tread profile ensures dependable traction, increases the tire’s hydroplaning resistance, and ensures great handling response combined with long mileage.
«With the launch of Premitra Snow WP6, our range began to include new-generation winter tires that meet the requirements of compact and midsized cars» — said Dirk Romann, the managing director of Maxxis International GmbH.
The new winter model is available in 31 sizes ranging from 14 to 18 inches, 175–245 mm wide, and the aspect ratio ranging from 40 to 65.
