The studless winter tire Toyo Observe S944 was designed to be installed on passenger cars for driving in mild winter conditions. It is characterized by a dependable grip on snow and stable handling on wet pavement. At the same time, it ensures a quiet ride and a fair amount of fuel economy.
The Observe S944 model was showcased at the motor show Autopromotec 2019. It will replace Toyo Snowprox S943 in the company’s model range.
Thanks to the use of the Nano Balance technology while still in the design stage, the Toyo engineers were able to create an innovative tread compound, which, working together with the highly developed drainage system, allows Observe S944 to ensure high level of performance on wet pavement.
Placed at different angles, the 3D lamellas increase the sturdiness of the tread blocks, which in turn, leads to an improved traction, better road holding ability, and better braking performance in winter conditions.
The directional tread pattern ensures a good balance between the water drainage and the traction performance. The lintels between the tread blocks increase the cornering stability of Toyo Observe S944.
The new-generation rubber compound ensures extra grip on wet pavement.
