These tires are great on dry roads, providing excellent grip and control. They do need some time to warm up, but once they do, they stick to the road like glue. On colder days or when they haven’t warmed up enough, the grip isn’t as reliable, and I’ve experienced some slip. They aren’t the best for wet conditions either, so I drive carefully when it’s raining. They’re quieter than I expected for a performance tire, which is a nice bonus.

I've had these Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires on my Honda Civic Type R for about 1000 miles, and they are fantastic. Even in cooler temperatures, they provide excellent handling and a balanced feel. As they warm up, you can really feel the difference – they become even more responsive. I’ve pushed them to high speeds, around 150+ MPH, and they remain incredibly stable. In wet conditions, if you drive sensibly, they perform adequately. However, I’d be cautious around standing water due to the tread design. These tires also come with acoustic foam, which makes them quieter than the previous PS4S I had. They’re perfect for spirited driving and have so far worn very little.

They’re a mixed bag. When they’re warm, the grip is incredible, but they are very sensitive to temperature changes. In cold weather, below 20°C, they struggle to maintain traction, especially in wet conditions. I’ve had moments where pulling away from a stop in the rain led to shuddering and poor acceleration. They also pick up a lot of debris from the road, which isn’t great for my car’s paint.
