What is good?
What is bad?
After just 18500 km, all four tires needed replacement, which is only about half of the expected mileage. This rapid wear is disappointing, especially given the premium price of the tires. In wet conditions, they are adequate but not outstanding.

Unfortunately, the P Zero tires on my Hyundai Kona N have been disappointing. From the start, they were problematic, suffering from poor compound quality. After sitting on the dealer’s lot for six months, they degraded significantly. Hyundai didn’t cover the issue under warranty, leaving me to deal directly with Pirelli, which proved to be a hassle. In warm weather, they grip well, but below 15°C, they become hard and lose traction. On snow, they are useless, behaving more like hockey pucks. The noise levels are high, with a constant dull roar inside the cabin. Despite good dry performance, the overall experience has been frustrating, and I wouldn’t buy these tires again.
What is good?
For me, the crisp handling and complete road control they offer is exactly what I was looking for.
Comments
I recently fitted the Pirelli P Zero tyres on my MB S-Class, size R20. My choice was based on various reviews, both online and from personal acquaintances. So far, with about a thousand kilometers under my belt, I'm really satisfied with these tyres. They feel soft while driving, but don't be fooled – they're pretty tough. They've handled spring potholes like a pro. Their grip on the road, especially in the rain on the highway, is nothing short of impressive. Now, they might not be everyone's cup of tea comfort-wise, given their distinct sporty characteristics. You might feel every little road imperfection, but you get used to it.
What is good?
On regular, well-paved roads, whether dry or rain-soaked, they've been great.
What is bad?
In rainwater-filled ruts, going over 80 km/h can feel a bit risky, as the tyres tend to lose grip and braking power. After about a year and a half of use, they’ve worn down by about 65-75%, with a driving style that balances between cautious and spirited. In summary, while they are good, I'd be cautious in recommending them for areas prone to heavy rain or roads with frequent ruts.
Comments
I've been using Pirelli P Zero tyres on my BMW 740d xDrive, size 2455018 Run Flat. They’ve withstood various road blemishes admirably, although the car’s own rims might deserve some credit for this resilience. When it comes to minor or deep ruts, it's essential to keep a firm grip on the steering wheel to maintain control.

The front tires lasted only 17,000 miles, compared to 24,000 miles for the Michelins I had previously and 25,000 miles for the original Bridgestones. This quick wear is a significant drawback, especially given the premium price of these tires. On the positive side, they handle well in both dry and wet conditions, providing a stable and comfortable ride. However, given the poor wear performance, I have switched to Goodyear Efficient Grip tires to see if they offer better durability.
