The VancoWinter is Continental's Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow tire developed for the drivers of vans and multi-purpose vehicles that transport heavy loads. The VancoWinter is designed to combine long tire wear with winter driving traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads, and is available in Euro-metric Commercial Vehicle sizes.

VancoWinter tires feature a robust construction and special winter grip compound molded into a symmetric tread pattern with wide drainage channels for efficient slush and water evacuation that increase wet traction and hydroplaning resistance. The funnel-shaped grooves and high sipe density combine to maximize grip in the snow, as well as braking in snow and on ice. The tire's cross section flat contour and wide tread optimize the footprint for even wear and extended tire life, and a rugged scuff rib helps to protect the sidewall from curb contact damage.

The robust sidewall construction features two polyester casing plies, while the tread of the VancoWinter is supported by twin steel belts reinforced with a polyamide reinforcement ply to provide high cornering stability and load carrying capacity.
