The Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT model, together with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT and Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S, was put on the market in 2018 as part of the renewal of the Discoverer AT3 tire line, having to do with the steadily rising demand for durable tires that provide comfortable ride on paved roads and ensure driving safety in off-road conditions. Due to the fact that the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT model is engineered to tackle heavy loads, its characteristic feature is high resistance to wear, which is ensured by the Durable-Tread proprietary technology used in the production of this model. The Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT tread pattern ensures not just even distribution of pressure in the contact area, but also consistent handling response. Special tread elements, called Whisper Grooves, create a sound barrier, which dampens the road noise. The stone ejectors on the walls of the circumferential grooves prevent gravel and rocks from sticking in the tread, which also extends tread life.
