We spent several hours reading reviews from experts and tire owners. In summary, this is what people think about Falken Azenis RT660. You can agree with these conclusions by voting for any item:

Reasons to buy vote if agree

– Exceptional Grip and Handling: The Falken Azenis RT660 is widely praised for its outstanding grip and handling, particularly in dry conditions. Drivers frequently highlight its ability to provide excellent traction and stability, making it a popular choice for autocross and track enthusiasts.
– Durable for Track Use: Many users appreciate the tire's durability, even under the demanding conditions of track use. It offers good wear resistance, allowing drivers to get more mileage out of the tires compared to similar high-performance options.
– Good Value for Money: The RT660 is often mentioned as providing great value for its price, offering high performance at a competitive cost. This makes it an attractive option for those looking for a budget-friendly track tire.
– Confidence in Wet Conditions: Despite its primary focus on dry performance, the tire also performs reasonably well in wet conditions, providing enough grip to handle unexpected weather changes.
– Responsive Steering: The tire is noted for its precise and responsive steering, enhancing the driving experience, especially in spirited driving scenarios.

Reasons not to buy

– Reduced Performance in Wet Conditions: While generally competent, the tire's performance in wet conditions is not as strong as its dry performance. Some users have experienced a drop in traction during heavy rain.
– Noise Levels: A few drivers reported that the tire can be quite noisy, especially at higher speeds, which might be a consideration for those sensitive to road noise.
– Faster Wear Under Aggressive Driving: The RT660, while durable, may wear faster under aggressive driving conditions, particularly on the track. This can lead to more frequent replacements for those who push their tires to the limit.
– Limited Comfort: The tire's focus on performance can come at the expense of ride comfort, with some users noting a firmer ride that might not be ideal for everyday use.
– Sensitivity to Temperature: The tire may require careful temperature management to maintain optimal performance, particularly in cooler conditions where grip might be reduced until the tires are properly warmed up.

Dual-drive the car a lot, burn up a set per season, hundreds of laps.

Performance? Top-notch, but theyre just not cutting it in the 200 treadwear category anymore.

Might have to switch next season, but for now theyre killing it. Billings MT tracks can be brutal but these tires don’t care.

They’re a bit pricey but the longevity? Worth every penny.

Wow these RT660s? Amazing! I got them on my 2017 Honda Fit LX and what a change! The RT615k+ was okay, but these are a whole new level. Crazy good mileage-30000 miles and still kicking! Price is super reasonable too. Use them for both autocross and daily driving in summer, and they handle everything like a pro. East Liverpool OH can be tough on tires, but these? They just roll with it. Only downside, a bit slippery in the rain, but can’t win ’em all, right? Totally happy!
