This is my first time using non-studded winter tires and these SS01 tires have been fantastic. They grip the snow really well and have predictable braking on ice. Ive driven them through the entire season from fall 2022 to winter 2023 and there’s barely any wear on them. Theyre also surprisingly quiet for winter tires.

They were a nightmare to mount because of the stiff sidewalls. They are also quite noisy at speeds over 120 km/h. I expected better, considering the price.
What is good?
They soft and provide excellent traction in snow and ice. I’ve driven them in temperatures as low as -40c and they didn’t harden up at all. Compared to other brands I’ve used, these are a great value for the price.
