Picked up these Nexen Winguard WT1 tires because they were affordable and you know what?
They’re pretty decent for what you pay.
They’re quiet and soft, which makes for a comfy ride, but man, they slip a bit on icy roads. Gotta be careful when it’s slick out. If you’re on a budget and mostly sticking to city streets, they’ll do the job, just watch out on the ice.

I have had them for over a season, and they perform well on both wet and dry roads. They really shine when it comes to handling snow and slush: no slipping or sliding, even in messy conditions. The only downside is that they get a bit noisy when the temperatures climb above freezing, but thats a minor issue for me.

Been using these WT1s for a while now in the city, and they are just what I needed. These tires are soft and make the ride smooth as silk—seriously, its like driving on a cloud. They’re also super quiet, which is a bonus for city driving. Just be careful on the ice; they’re not as grippy as you’d want in really slick conditions.
