Chinese-made Pirellis—who would’ve thought? Fitted them on the front of my VW Mk5 Golf 8k km,Not top-tier, but for what they cost? They are delivering better than I expected. Momos on the rear now, but that’s another story.

Pirellis dragon sport, a new tire for the Asia Pacific market—put them on VW Golf mk6 GTD.

First thoughts? Not bad at all. They’re quiet, and they grip well, especially in the wet, with good feedback. The USTQ rating of 400 hints at a harder compound, so maybe not ideal for track days, but for everyday driving? They work. If friends ask, Id definitely suggest these. But for the enthusiasts out there?

Maybe PS4s or PZeros are more your speed.

What is bad?
Disappointing. Way too easy to damage—sidewalls just can’t handle minor hits. Im stripping them off and going back to Eagle F1. Pirelli dropped the ball with these.
