Tire Rank :: Sailun Atrezzo Elite
142 584 in Passenger / Summer
27 108 in High Performance Summer
Description
The Sailun Atrezzo Elite is a summer high-performance tire developed for European drivers, blending cost efficiency with balanced wet and dry traction. Its asymmetric tread design features zoned elements: rigid outer shoulder blocks for cornering stability, and inner grooves optimized for water evacuation. A silica-infused compound enhances grip on smooth surfaces, while wide circumferential channels combat hydroplaning. Available in 14”–18” rim diameters, it targets compact cars and mid-size sedans. Developed with input from international engineers, it prioritizes responsive handling over all-season versatility.
Features & Benefits
- Asymmetric Tread Zones: Outer shoulder blocks resist lateral flex during aggressive cornering; inner grooves prioritize straight-line water dispersal.
- Centrifugal Drainage System: Angled lateral grooves leverage wheel rotation forces to accelerate water ejection, reducing hydroplaning risk at high speeds.
- Wide Shoulder Blocks: Covering 50% of the tread area, these square-profile elements distribute load evenly, improving wear resistance and reducing rolling noise.
- Advanced Compound: High-dispersion silica and modified styrene-butadiene rubber enhance micro-surface conformity for wet braking and dry-road feedback.
- Rigid Center Rib: Stabilizes high-speed straight-line tracking without compromising steering precision.
Year Released
Introduced in 2015 as part of Sailun’s eight-model European expansion.
Regions Availability
This tire is marketed in Europe, Russia, East Asia, and Oceania.
Vehicle Compatibility
Based on size availability and regional fitment trends:
- Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus (195/65R15, 205/55R16)
- Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra (185/55R15, 195/60R15)
- Renault Megane, Opel Astra (205/50R17, 215/55R17)
- Skoda Octavia, Honda Civic (225/50R17, 235/55R17)
Note: Always consult with a tire specialist or the vehicle’s manufacturer to ensure correct tire fitment.
Final Thoughts
The Atrezzo Elite suits budget-conscious drivers in temperate climates seeking predictable summer performance. Its asymmetric design delivers competent wet traction (rated 8/10 in tests) and stable cornering, though softer sidewalls compared to premium rivals like Michelin Primacy 4 limit ultimate agility. Treadwear is average (rated 7/10), aligning with its price point. While effective in rain, the lack of 3PMSF certification excludes winter use. Best for urban and highway driving, it struggles on coarse-chip roads where its compound shows increased wear. A pragmatic choice for drivers prioritizing value over brand prestige, particularly in markets lacking harsh winters.
Sailun Atrezzo Elite Latest Reviews
What is good?
These were fitted to the front wheels of my car. They lasted nearly 35000 miles, which is impressive for a tyre. Handling was better than expected in both dry and wet conditions. They were quiet and offered confidence when driving at speed.
What is bad?
They developed a slow leak from the rim/bead over the last year. I was having to check pressures at least once a week. This may be a fitting issue. Towards the end of their life the inside edge wore although alignment is correct.

Overall happy with the tyre. Reliable grip and quiet. Worth a punt. They aren't premium, but pretty close to being.
