ADAC: Summer Tire Test R17 2016
The tire dimension 225/45 R 17 Y continues to be popular in various passenger car classes. For this reason, the ADAC has tested 16 summer tires of this size with the well-known thoroughness. Four very well-balanced tire models achieve the ADAC judgment "good", eleven models show slight or significant weaknesses in one or more criteria and therefore get the ADAC judgment satisfactory. Due to pronounced weakness in the criterion of wetness, a tire model does not go beyond an ADAC judgment "sufficient".
