Bridgestone Launches First All-Weather Firestone Tire

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. has refreshed the selection of Firestone brand. The new products include all-weather tires for SUVs and light trucks Firestone Destination A/T2 and Firestone Destination X/T, as well as an all-weather touring tire Firestone WeatherGrip designed for passenger cars.

All of the three new models are Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certified and are backed by the industry-leading Firestone 90-Day Buy & Try Guarantee, which means that if consumers are not satisfied with their purchase, they can return or exchange their tires within the first 90 days.

The details about the sizes of Destination A/T2 and Destination X/T will be out in August. However, already now the company is spreading the information that the tires will meet the drivers’ expectations in terms of their versatility and uncompromising quality. Both models are sturdy enough to handle cross-country driving, yet at the same time very comfortable to ensure a quiet ride just like touring tires should.

WeatherGrip tires come with HydroGrip Package that features full-depth grooves to help provide enhanced water evacuation, open shoulder slots to help provide enhanced water evacuation, and a rounded footprint that pierces water to help improve hydroplaning resistance.

These tires are marketed as «durable and dependable tires that work hard and keep the drivers in control in every season» notes the technical expert (Shina.Guide).
