Hankook Tire has expanded its portfolio of original equipment tires. America’s best-selling SUV, the new Ford Explorer, which has undergone a complete redesign inside and out for the 2020 year, will now «wear» all-season premium class tires Hankook Kinergy GT H436 in the size 255/65 R18.
The tires of this Korean brand will complement the image of Ford Explorer 2020 with 3.0-liter V6 EcoBoost gas engine and 10-speed transmission. The low rolling profile and tread design of the Kinergy GT helps to complement and enhance the SUV’s already compelling fuel mileage rating.
The state-of-the-art four channel design, compounded with an optimized lateral groove and chamfer sipe arrangement, provide exceptional grip in both wet and snowy driving conditions. A multi-layered carcass, composed of equilibrium carcass lines, along with jointless and supplemental reinforcement belts, all contribute to smooth and comfortable ride.
This is not the first time that Hankook Tire supplies original equipment for Ford. For example, the company has been supplying OE tires for Econoline vans since 1999. The latest achievements of this manufacturer include contacts for supplying tires for F-150 pickup trucks and mid-sized Ford Rangers.
