Hercules Terra Trac HPT is an all-season tire designed to be installed on SUVs and CUVs, launched on the North American market in 2020. It is characterized by stable traction on dry and wet pavements, as well as on snowy roads, smooth ride, low cabin noise, and high fuel efficiency.
According to the tire maker, Hercules Terra Trac HPT came to replace Terra Trac HTS in the company’s model range. The optimized tread design reduces the tire’s noise emission and rolling resistance, at the same time increasing the riding comfort. The wide circumferential grooves ensure quick evacuation of water from the contact patch, which leads to the tire’s increased hydroplaning resistance and stable handling response on wet pavement.
The tread blocks of Hercules Terra Trac HPT are arranged in such an order as to effectively prevent road stones from getting into the grooves, which increases the tire’s resistance to tear and extends its treadlife.
