Kenda Introduces Klever A/T2 KR628 in Las Vegas

At Global Tire Expo 2019, which recently took place in Las Vegas, Taiwan’s Kenda Tire presented new all-season tires for SUVs and pickup trucks A/T2 KR628, which, according to the manufacturer’s statement, have the quality of premium brands, but come at a price of the budget-friendly models.

The Kenda KR628 model was developed at Kenda’s technical center in Green, Ohio. It is noted that the computer simulation was done for every tire size, and not just for one prototype, which allowed the engineers to make sure that the model’s entire range from 235/75 R15 to LT275/65 R20 meets the needs of the potential consumers.

Kenda Klever A/T 2 KR628 is marketed as the most advanced all-terrain tire ever put into the market by this tire maker. Its tread pattern has clear references to that of the popular model Klever R/T KR601 that was presented in 2018.

What is remarkable is the fact that Kenda Klever A/T2 KR628 will replace its predecessor Klever A/T KR28 virtually in all sizes, yet, parallel to that, it will expand the range of the Klever R/T KR601 model.

The new Kenda model, which will be manufactured in Vietnam, will be available retail since the spring of 2020.
