Cheng Shin Rubber Industry (Maxxis Tires) has broadened the range of its CST Medallion Winter WCP1 tires, manufactured since 2018. The pool of the originally available 18 sizes of this model, designed to be installed on small to medium sized passenger cars, was augmented by the manufacturer by yet another 18 sizes that will be available in the 2019/2020 winter season for premium-class vehicles.
The new sizes of Medallion Winter WCP1 are manufactured with fitting diameters from 16 to 18 inches (195/45 R16 — 245/40 R18), V speed indexes, and an increased carrying capacity.
In accordance with the European system of tire marking, the wet traction delivered by the new sizes of CST WCP1 refers to Class B, the fuel efficiency to Class E. At the same time nothing keeps the manufacturer from marketing this model’s fuel efficiency as one of its key competitive advantages.
