Vredestein Ultrac Vorti+ (Plus) is an asymmetric UHP summer tire, thanks to which powerful sports cars will deliver steering precision, reliable grip, and a high level of safety during high-speed driving.

Presented in 2021, the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti+ model is currently the latest update of the successful line Ultrac Vorti, which since 2013 has been manufactured under the Dutch brand, owned by India’s Apollo Tyres. When changing generations, the engineers opted out of changing the tread pattern, increasing the stiffness of the sidewalls and shoulder areas instead. In addition, they increased the bead area of the Ultrac Vorti + by 13%, which had a positive effect on handling and maneuverability.

The Ultrac Vorti Plus model has an asymmetric tread design, which ensures dependable dry and wet grip. The stable central rib with Z-shaped slit-like sipes increases the accuracy of steering response, while the stiff outer shoulder with a high land-to-sea ratio improves the tire’s maneuverability.

The reduced tread-to-void ration on the inner shoulder improves traction and handling performance on wet surfaces. The wide circumferential grooves quickly and efficiently dispel water in the contact area, thus successfully preventing a hydroplaning effect. Due to quick evacuation of water from the contact area, the tire maintains strong grip regardless of the weather conditions.

The carefully selected composition of the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti+ tread compound withstands a wide temperature range, ensuring excellent handling performance, including at high speeds.

The even distribution of pressure in the contact area slows down the tread wear. This makes it possible to use the tire to its full potential throughout its entire service life without worrying that the ride comfort or driving safety will deteriorate as the tire wears.
