BFGoodrich Advantage SUV is a Highway Terrain asymmetric summer tires for SUVs. According to the manufacturer, the main features that the designers focused upon were high hydroplaning resistance and reliable wet grip. If we add acoustic comfort and long expected mileage, we will come up with quite a decent heavy-duty summer tire. The BFGoodrich Advantage SUV was launched on the European market in 2020, simultaneously with the passenger-car Advantage version. Both models sport a similar tread pattern, yet the SUV version has a reinforced inner construction meant to ensure a stable handling response from vehicles with a high gravity center. It is noted that, thanks to the computer aided optimization of tread design, combined with reinforced shoulder blocks and innovative tread compound, the tire maker was able to significantly reduce the braking distance provided by BFGoodrich Advantage SUV in the wet and in the dry, by 2.9 m and 1.1 m respectively.

Designed for passenger cars, BF Goodrich Advantage is coming to replace the G-Grip model; at the same time, it is not yet clear which models will be ousted by the Advantage SUV tire model.
