They’re firmer than the stock tires, which is a bit harsh on rough roads, but the handling is so much better. The noise levels are also lower, making for a quieter ride. Treadwear seems excellent so far. They grip well in both dry and wet conditions, though I haven’t tested them in the snow yet. Bought them online and saved a good amount compared to other brands.

I’ve been driving with these tires for over a year now...what a difference! I live in Long Beach, where the weather is all over the place – from scorching summers to icy winters. These tires have held up fantastically on all fronts. Previously, I had high-performance summer tires, which were just noisy and not as comfortable. The RE980AS+ are much quieter, and the ride is smoother. I do a lot of highway driving and these tires have never let me down, even at higher speeds...you can just feel the grip. The tread design really helps with water evacuation during heavy rains, which is a lifesaver. The overall build feels solid, and they’ve shown minimal wear even after thousands of miles. I bought these from tirerack and had them installed locally without any hassle.
The wet handling is amazing, seriously...you feel secure even in downpours. They’re super quiet compared to my old tires, making long drives way more pleasant.

The difference in noise levels from my previous tires is night and day. These are much quieter and handle well in both dry and wet conditions. They also give a firmer, sportier ride. Installation was smooth, and I’ve driven about 500 miles so far with no issues. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable all-season tire.
