What is good?
I’ve been running two sets of Continental ContiCrossContact UHP SSR tires on my 2018 Kia Sportage, sized 225/55 R17. Over the years, each set has managed to clock about 25000 miles. Given that my vehicle has a high center of gravity, the rear tires wear out faster due to hard cornering, which is typical. These Continentals have proven themselves in snowy conditions, likely due to their softer rubber compound. Off-road, they do decently as long as you remember they're not hardcore off-road tires. They maintain a quiet ride on highways and handle well in wet conditions. Just ordered another pair for the front!

Comments
These tires have excelled in various conditions, from wet and dry roads to occasional snow. Having used Pirelli tires before, I find the Continentals to have superior wear characteristics. Priced around £160 each, they offer excellent value. My driving mainly consists of navigating the hilly terrains of Wales, but I've also taken several long-distance trips. The performance and durability of these tires are impressive, and they handle beautifully on all types of roads.

Living in the west coast of France with its mild winters, Ive fitted my 4 Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 with UHP SSR tires, size 25550 R19 W. Over the years, these tires have proven themselves in various weather conditions. Despite being summer tires, they handle the occasional rain exceptionally well. Before switching to Continentals, I used Goodyear F1 tires, which were slightly better in wet conditions. With a background in racing, I appreciate the good balance between understeer and oversteer these tires offer.
