I’ve driven on these tires for over 1,000 miles, mixing city and highway driving. My Cadillac CTS-V has never felt better. I initially chose these tires for the Y speed rating and the mileage warranty, essential for the Silver State Classic. The ECS02s have delivered in spades. They handle corners with a solid, weighty feel, and the linear effort makes them a joy on twisty roads. They’re quieter than my previous Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+, registering 1.5-2 dB lower in my tests, which is remarkable. The tires look narrower than competitors’ models, but this is a minor issue compared to their performance. On wet roads, they exhibit excellent grip, preventing hydroplaning effectively. The mileage warranty and the price, especially with the rebate, made them an unbeatable deal.

Tested these tires on my Toyota GR86 during both dry and wet track days. The grip is excellent, especially in the wet where they handle hydroplaning well. However, the handling is not as sharp as I hoped. The soft sidewall causes some rolling during cornering, which reduces the direct feel. The breakaway is also more abrupt than expected.
