Continental TrueContact Tour

Manufacturer's description

One tyre, four seasons.

  • Impressive grip on snowy and wet winter roads
  • Good braking performance on dry and wet summer roads
  • Best-in-class rolling resistance performance

Notable Features

Continental TrueContact Tour is a touring all-season tire with a non-directional symmetric tread pattern, designed to ensure a safe and comfortable ride during long trips. It is characterized by stable traction on dry and wet pavements, as well as on snowy roads, smooth ride, low cabin noise, and high fuel efficiency. Continental TrueContact Tour Presented in 2018, the Continental TrueContact Tour tire came to replace the True Contact model. The tire got the same tread design as its predecessor, as it has proven its grip and traction capabilities in dry and wet conditions as well as on snow.

However, an obvious question arises: what is the fundamental difference between the two models then? Due to its upgraded tread compound, the TrueContact Tour has a 27% wear improvement over its predecessor, and features a UTQG (Uniform Tire Quality Grading) tread wear rating of 800. Tread Pattern The Continental True Contact Tour sidewall impact resistance has been increased by 30%, making the tire better able to handle potholes and similar road hazards.

The manufacturer positions this model, widely represented on the North American market as “the perfect all-season tire”.
