What is good?
A good mix of responsiveness, quietness, and smoothness over rough pavement.

I had these tires on my WRX and STI then on my GTI and GOLF R. They are not very good on ice without the studs , but overall I think there is no better tire for the money. I had them in 205/50/17 on all my vehicles. Narrower tires, higher pressure on to the snow and more grip. Also cheaper and more sidewall for a greater protection. I did the mistake and bought my first set for my STI in the 235 size.....was very disappointed in snow, they were plowing over the snow/slush and had very bad wet traction. In the cold dry weather they were great though.
