Manufacturer's description

Kenda Klever A/T2 KR628 (presented in 2019) is an all-season tire for SUVs and pickup trucks, which the manufacturer is marketing as the most advanced development in the entire history of this brand.

Notable Features

Kenda Klever A/T2 KR628 will replace the 2012 model Klever A/T KR28 in nearly all of the fitments. At the same time, the tread design of KR628 has a few elements borrowed from Klever R/T KR601, which explains their visual likeness and the fact that their size range is meant to also expand the KR601 assortment offer. Created for the fans of high-speed driving, the Kenda Klever AT2 tire has a large-block tread pattern with aggressive elements in the upper sections of the sidewalls, which are meant to increase the tireā€™s resistance to cut, tear, and puncture. The massive tread blocks ensure consistent performance on all types of surfaces, while the wide drainage grooves increase Klever A/T 2ā€™s hydroplaning resistance, as well as strengthen the grip on wet and muddy surfaces. Kenda KR628 at Global Tire Expo 2019 in Las Vegas The all-weather rubber compound, combined with dense lamellas that form lots of edges for a better Ā«biteĀ» on snow and ice, ensure great handling on winter roads. The Kenda KR628 tires have been certified with a 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF).

Very quiet tire, grip was outstanding in heavy rain and 70 mph grip was above average. Off road in pastures and farmland has impressed me. Gravel was outstanding with confidence and little to no slippage. Treadwear has been good. 5000 miles so far only wore down 1/32nd.
What is bad?
Sidewall is not three ply but cannot complain
Comments
Good looks, price, all around traction without breaking my budget.
