Nexen N6000

Description

The Nexen N6000 is a high performance tire specially designed for the adventurous driver who enjoys dynamic driving. The tire features an advanced compound which provides a high level grip in all road surfaces. It is complemented by a high speed design and super soft compound which enhances your carβ„’s handling. The directional tread allows for quick and smooth driving while effectively evacuating water from beneath the tires. This makes it easy to drive through deep puddles with the grooves collecting water and vacating water out at an efficient rate resulting in hydroplaning resistance. The circumferential belt ensures precision steering on dry and wet road surfaces by reducing braking distance. You can drive confidently knowing that your tires are equipped with high safety level features.

  • Exceptional grip levels on all road conditions with low fuel consumption without compromising performance
  • Safety and low level of noise thanks to its Optimized Belt Contour System (OBCS) which minimizes tire pressure, enhances driving resistance, and reduces noise allowing you to enjoy comfortable rides even when on long distances
  • European style design with drainage function to provide safety when driving on wet road surfaces

What is good?
Grip on take off, wear on super high temperature roads in Phoenix, so far they've lasted 40k miles of hard driven, pedal to the floor take offs. Resisted punctures and sidewall cuts, drove with 1 that was flat and didn't realize it for 3 miles in city. Aired it up, plugged it and it holds air, this was just recently after 40k miles, never came off the rim. All tires wore evenly with no rotation. Aggressive tread pattern, looked good on svs rims 275/40/17 on 10” rims
What is bad?
Nothing

Had bf goodrich they wore out at 20k and picked up every nail possible, hankook even worse, I could slap the guy at pepboys for talking me into those. Nexen was unknown when I bought them, they were cheap $300 mounted and balanced now same tire is closer to $500. Trying another unknown again and hoping to get lucky with so many available now it should pay off to do a little research, leaning toward Foceum hexxa now. Can be had for under $300 m&b
