The tire maker claims that Nexen Roadian GTX ensures the longest expected treadlife in Korea, which is ensured by the use of the special polymer that serves to reduce the tire’s deformation while driving in various road conditions. The use of technical carbon with a long molecular chain increases the tire’s resistance to wear thanks to strengthening of the ties between the molecules of the rubber compound.

Nexen Roadian GTX The broad tread pattern of Roadian GTX with zigzagged grooves serves to even distribution of pressure in the contact patch and improves the handling response during emergency maneuvers. The longitudinal sipes running through each of the tread blocks increase the vehicle’s maneuverability and stability at high speeds.

The optimized tilt angle of grooves and sipes of Nexen Roadian GTX ensures the required sturdiness of the tread blocks, which serves to minimize uneven wear. The elaborate pattern of grooves and lamellas reduces the braking distance on snow and dry pavement, at the same time ensuring a smooth ride in any season.

Dry Performance 
I've bought these tires not long ago. I'm pleased with my choice. My car became more quiet. They perform well in the dry but there is a little hydroplaning in the wet.

    Would this be a good tire for a 2016 Silverado LTZ 2wheel Drive.  Have Goodyear LS-2 that are wearing out.  Want a good smooth sporty tire. With good treadwear and ride good in the rain.
