Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II

Manufacturer's description

The CINTURATO P7™ ALL SEASON PLUS II is Pirelli’s enhanced Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of premium and touring sedans and coupes. Part of Pirelli’s Plus line of products, the CINTURATO P7™ ALL SEASON PLUS II is designed to better meet the needs of drivers in the North American market with a new tread compound and an optimized footprint for enhanced wet braking and handling, while maintaining the mileage, comfort, noise and all season performance of the previous generation.

Notable Features

Presented in 2020 on the North American market, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II came to replace the Cinturato P7 All Season Plus model. The new model inherited from its predecessor a prominently asymmetric tread pattern, but, according to the designers, the optimized contact patch and the optimized rubber compound, which now contains more silicone dioxide, both serve to improve the tire’s braking performance and handling response, at the same time reducing its rolling resistance. The stable outer shoulder of Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II increases the crispness of the vehicle’s steering response, while the succession of tread blocks of varying size serves to reduce noise emission. The four wide circumferential grooves speed up the evacuation of water from the contact area, increasing hydroplaning resistance, while the lateral and longitudinal drainage grooves create the edge effect, boosting the tire’s bite on wet pavement and fresh snow.

I was looking for comfortable and quiet tires after my OE Continentals. These P7's exceeded my expectations. They are super quiet, have less impact harshness. I've noticed that fuel economy improved slightly. Full tread depth tires don't handle as well in the dry but these did well.
