Manufacturer's description

The Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II is Pirelli’s enhanced eco-friendly CUV/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and pick-up trucks. As with the previous generation, the Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II is covered by a 65,000-mile limited tread wear warranty. The new Pirelli tire is now available in 32 sizes, the full 40 size range will be available by September.

  • EFFICIENT (Rolling resistance reduction to aid in achieving improved fuel consumption and decreased environmental impact);
  • WET PERFORMANCE (The introduction of a silica functionalized polymer with higher silica content aims to improve wet performance and fuel consumption);
  • OPTIMIZED FOOTPRINT (The new compound is designed to promote better adjustment of the contact patch to the road surfaces and transfer of the braking and steering maneuvers to the ground, especially in wet and humid conditions);
  • CONTROL (Excellent water expulsion and greater lateral stability is due to four longitudinal grooves and high lateral siping density);
  • HANDLING PERFORMANCE (Developed utilizing the latest technological innovations to deliver exceptional performance and handling in a wide range of weather conditions including wet, dry and light snow);
  • REDUCED NOISE (Engineered for decreased external and cabin noise thanks to optimized pitch sequence and phasing).

Notable Features

Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II is a new touring tire model 2019 developed for the North American market. The tire features an asymmetric tread pattern, and is designed for year-round use on SUVs, CUVs, and pickup trucks. Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II The Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II tire will replace the 2013 model Scorpion Verde All Season Plus.

When comparing the two tires’ performance, the company predictably highlights the advantages of the second-generation model, the tiresvote technical expert says. Thanks to the expanded contact area and absolutely new tread compound formula, it provides shorter dry and wet braking distances, and is characterized by a more stable handling response in various weather conditions. Tread Pattern The manufacturer notes that against the backdrop of obvious improvements the Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II model has retained its predecessor’s focus on long tread life, smooth and noiseless ride, and reliable grip on winter roads.
