Pirelli North America has launched a new Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II all-season model to be fitted on SUVs. The tire was engineered specifically to meet the requirements of American drivers, and, as the manufacturer claims, delivers an outstanding performance on both wet and dry pavements. At the same time, the tire’s acoustic comfort and winter traction stayed on the level of the previous-generation tire — Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus — launched in 2013.
The wet performance of the new tire was improved thanks to a modified rubber compound; in addition, the contact spot was enlarged, which also improved the handling response in various weather conditions.
Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II is available in 32 sizes, with 40 more sizes becoming available in September 2019. The tire is backed by a 105 000 km tread wear warranty.
