I bought a car in late 2017 that came equipped with Radar Dimax AS-8 tires. I planned on buying better tires two at a time due to budget constraints, but never followed through. After using these tires for approximately 5.5-6 years, here's my experience with them.

Initially, I was satisfied with the tires, given that they lasted for a considerable amount of time. I had no complaints other than having to replace one tire due to a screw puncture and repairing another for the same reason. However, upon reflection, I noticed that the tire wear became noticeable around the 60,000-mile mark, despite the product's claim of lasting for that distance. My car had 40,000 miles when I bought it, and it's now around 80,000 miles, making the tires' effective lifespan closer to 40,000 miles.

As the mileage racked up, I began to experience skidding at take-off, signaling that the tires had lost their efficacy. This indicated that it was time, if not overdue, to invest in new tires.
When I got these tires replaced, I noticed they felt somewhat flimsy when handled. They didn't seem as rigid as I would have expected from a car tire, making me a bit apprehensive about their quality.

One significant downside is that these tires are quite loud. While driving, it often sounds as if the rear windows are cracked open, adding an unnecessary level of noise inside the vehicle.

Given these experiences, I'm slightly nervous about continuing to use these tires, although I don't often drive on freeways, which might mitigate some risks.

Overall, the Radar Dimax AS-8 tires have been serviceable but did not live up to their 60,000-mile durability claim. They also showed signs of wear that affected their performance sooner than expected. The build quality seemed somewhat lacking, and the noise level leaves much to be desired. I'll likely look for an alternative option for my next set of tires.
