The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is a worthy upgrade on the original CrossClimate+. It improves the outgoing tyres grip in nearly all conditions, it makes a significant step forward in the snow, and has significantly lower rolling resistance. All in all, the CrossClimate 2 is a very impressive all season tyre.

The Bridgestone WeatherControl A005 Evo continues Bridgestone dominance in the the shallow water tests, and it has good braking in nearly all conditions, but the tyre had a high rolling resistance and performed poorly in aquaplaning testing, which is important for an all season tyre.

The Vredestein Quatrac is the wet and dry specialist, performing extremely well in all the grip tests. Unfortunately, the snow performance of the tyre was lacking compared to the best, but this is still a very good all season tyre for the milder climate.

The Continental AllSeasonContact performed well in nearly all conditions, and particularly strong in the snow. A well balanced all season tyre, excellent for climates which see regular snow across the winter months.

The Kinergy 4S² offers specially balanced and constant performance features across all seasons. This is made possible by a directional tread being used for Hankook all-weather tyres for the first time, combined with a particularly innovative polymer silica tread mixture.

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 provides improved grip for better handling on snow. The large amount of sipes at the center of the tyre’s tread provide for better snow biting, improving handling on snow by 5% in comparison to the previous Vector 4Seasons Gen-2.
