The 2022 Tyre Reviews all-season tire test placed nine 225/45 R17 all season tires through dry, wet and snow testing using a VW Golf. The test involved tire models, including the premium-class Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Goodyear and Continental, as well as Hankook, Falken and Vredestein, belonging to the mid-price segment, and the inexpensive Kleber tires.

    The best snow performance on test by a margin, rivaling winter tyre ability, shortest dry braking with good grip in dry handling, high aquaplaning resistance, low rolling resistance. Limited grip in the wet grip tests with high levels of understeer.
