Hankook Dynapro MT2 (RT05) is an all-season mud tire for SUVs, designed to ensure dependable traction in the harshest off-road conditions. This new model of 2019 is characterized by high resistance to wear and a long treadlife, at the same time keeping up the «manners» and acceptable performance on paved roads.
Hankook Dynapro MT2 is the most powerful off-road tire ever offered by this manufacturer. This tire came to replace the Dynapro MT model, in comparison to which it got a number of improvements that further raised the overall safety level.
The mud model Hankook Dynapro MT2 got an aggressive tread design meant to ensure maximum traction in off-road conditions and suppress the road noise.
The V-shaped shoulder blocks, set a certain angle, bleed into the sidewalls. They are meant to increase the tire’s «bite», increase its resistance to wear, as well as resistance to puncture. The sipes that run through the middle section of the tire increase its grip on wet pavement, snow, and in off-road conditions. The stone ejectors help to protect the tread grooves from dirt and small stones, thus increasing the tire’s resistance to puncture and tear.
The tread compound increases the traction ensured by Hankook RT05 Dynapro MT2 virtually on any road surface. The sturdy three-layer sidewalls allow this all-season mud tire to tackle the harshest of off-road conditions.
The strengthened carcass of the tire increases the riding comfort when driving on asphalt. The heavy-duty steel breaker increases the treadlife and improves the steering response.
