Kumho Gets Two More Good Design Awards

In the recent years, the product of Korea’s Kumho Tire has received a whole number of industrial design awards, such as IDEA, Red Dot, iF, and Good Design. Now the company augmented its already robust trophy portfolio with another two Good Design awards that were brought to it by the passenger car tire models, Kumho Ecsta PA51 and Kumho Majesty 9 Solus TA91.

Kumho Ecsta PA51 is an all-season tire that combines sporty handling and comfort. Its asymmetric tread pattern dispels water in four different directions for better performance on wet pavement, and for more efficient fuel consumption, while the varied depth of the grooves ensures noise reduction combined with better traction. The sidewall of Ecsta PA51 displays a flying checkered race flag.

Kumho Majesty 9 Solus TA91 is a renewed version of the Majesty Solus model that offers a quieter and more comfortable ride. The new improvements include an optimized tread pattern, as well as the sidewalls bearing a hologram that changes its color depending on the angle of light.
