Mickey Thompson (a Goodyear brand since last year) officially presented a new off-road tire Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP, which won the Best New Product award at last year’s SEMA motor show.

The tire is made from T4 rubber compound with a high content of silica, developed to increase the tire’s resistance to wear and cuts, as well as to improve wet grip. In addition, the lightweight structure of the tire ensures a smoother ride. The tread pattern was further improved to cut down noise emission, and tread blocks of varying shapes on the sidewalls provide extra protection from mechanical damage.
The Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP is manufactured in 41 sizes with a fitting diameter ranging from 15 to 20 inches, which covers virtually any off-road vehicle one can possibly think of. The tire is backed by a 80,000 km treadwear warranty. The company says that in the near future the «legendary» line will be extended with a new mud tire, which will be named Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ.
