Taiwan’s tire maker Nankang launched a new SUV tire Sonar Conqueror SX-5 designed to be used on hard pavement. This tire will become a great addition to the existing model range consisting of UHP-development Sonar Conqueror SX-9, the winner of «Taiwan Excellence 2012» award, the all-terrain tire Sonar Conqueror SX-8, mud tire Sonar Conqueror SX-7.

The additional thin sipes and evenly spaced lamellas in the tread blocks give the tire the required sturdiness and increase its hydroplaning resistance. The tread pattern of Conqueror SX-5 has been optimized to reduce the noise emission.
The new model is available in seven sizes for rims ranging from 16 to 20 inches: from 275/70 R16 to 285/50 R20. The speed indexes are H or V, depending on the fitting size.
