The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport showed its prowess on dry roads with strong dry handling and commendable dry braking in the Autobild Sportscars summer tire test. It offers crisp, direct steering and is noted for good comfort. However, its performance on wet surfaces leaves room for improvement, as evidenced by its lower rankings in wet braking and handling, as well as a notable understeering tendency. Additionally, the tire's high rolling resistance detracts from its overall efficiency.

This Goodyear model ensures excellent dry handling response, and on the whole it has no issues that would directly affect driving safety. At the same time, this is definitely not the most comfortable tire around, and its rolling resistance is indecently high by modern standards.

This tire is characterized by excellent steering feedback and ensures very good handling response on dry pavement. You cannot call it the most comfortable tire around, but on dry pavement it produces quite an impression.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport was the master of the dry handling lap, offering the best steering response and good feedback. Unfortunately in this 18" size, the F1SS didn't has as much wet performance as tested in other sizes.

Positive: Truly a road tyre you can use on track, excellent dynamic steering with quick reactions and good feedback, and very good heat resistance for a road tyre.
Negative: Oversteer wet handling balance, long wet braking distances, high external pass by noise, high rolling resistance.

Positive: sporty summer profile with a balanced high level of performance, dynamic driving behavior on wet roads, short dry braking distances, pleasant ride comfort.
Negative: high price level.
Verdict: good.

Excellent lateral stability and handling response on wet pavement. Precise steering response, and excellent braking performance. Smooth ride. High noise emission. Increased rolling resistance.

The new Goodyear tire was able to compete with Michelin and Continental, ultimately beating them thanks to its excellent wet handling.
