Presented in 2020, the Toyo Proxes Sport A is the next step in the evolution of the Proxes sport tire line. Compared to its predecessor, Toyo Proxes Sport, the new model has virtually identical tread pattern (for the exception of a larger number of sipes on the central rib). The tread compound, however, and the inner construction of the “A” model were significantly improved to ensure even better performance, first of all, on wet pavement. According to the manufacturer, the Proxes Sport A tires ensure better handling response at high speeds and more reliable traction when driving in the rain, which should satisfy the needs of the most demanding drivers.

Just like all the latest developments by Toyo, the Proxes Sport A model incorporates the proprietary Nano Balance technology that makes it possible to adjust the properties of the tread compound on the molecular (nano) level, due to which the tires are characterized by lower rolling resistance and more efficient braking on wet pavement. The excellent ground adhesion and cornering stability of the Toyo Proxes Sport A is ensured by the extra-rigid outside shoulder blocks, while the continuous central rib, just as rigid, with small diagonal taper sipes is meant to enhance the road-holding ability when driving at high speeds.
