Apollo Altrust is a light truck summer tire with a non-directional tread design, whose public debut took place at the Reifen 2016 tire show. This tire model, whose key advantages, according to the manufacturer, are excellent wet grip and long tread life, is designed for the European aftermarket. Based on its rather rich experience in creating tires for commercial vehicles, the Indian/Dutch company developed the Apollo Altrust model with an emphasis on driving safety and long expected mileage. This approach was reflected in the name of the model, which means that motorists can “trust” these tires in “all” seasons. The reinforced inner structure and sidewalls of the Altrust model increase its resistance to mechanical damage, while the optimized tread and profile of the tire, as well as the rubber compound with the inclusion of silica, improve fuel efficiency. A large circular contact patch, increased hydroplaning resistance, and extra-stiff tread blocks ensure stable and crisp handling response, as well as efficient braking performance, in any summer weather.

The long expected mileage of the Apollo Altrust is ensured by even distribution of pressure in the contact area, and, hence, even wear.
