So I got these Firestone Winterhawk 4s for my Citroen Saxo Hatchback, and wow, they're a game changer! Even on icy roads, these tires kept me steady. They're amazing in snowy conditions too, clearing slush like a pro. Only downside? They're a tad too soft when it warms up, but hey, they're winter tires! Definitely recommend, especially if you’re driving in really cold places.

Great tires. Now, when it is snowing, you can fully evaluate them. They stick to the road in snow as well as in slush. Good braking. Also great against snow during rain. I also have summer tires of this company. They're just as great. I recommend. Super quality at a great price.

Very good quality tires at a good price. I especially recommend it for typical urban driving, e.g. to work, shop, training, for a child, etc. The tires also proved their worth in highly variable weather and temperature conditions. It's worth getting a set;)

These Winterhawks on Skoda Karoq have been awesome especially in slushy and snowy conditions. They handle really well even better than my old Turanza T005s. Theyre pretty quiet too which is a bonus. On dry roads theye just okay, but hey theyre not built for dry speed. Overall great value for the price! Can't beat 'em for winter driving. A must-have for anyone dealing with snow and ice.

Great tires. Now, when it is snowing, you can fully evaluate them. They stick to the road in snow as well as in slush. Good braking. Also great against snow during rain. I also have summer tires of this company. They're just as great. I recommend. Super quality at a great price.

ADAC: Winter Tire Test R17
Ranked #10th of 16. Firestone Winterhawk 4Verdict:The Firestone Winterhawk 4 excelled in wet and winter conditions, offering reliable handling and control on slippery surfaces. It combined lateral and longitudinal forces effectively, making it easy to navigate through snowy and icy terrain. However, its dry road performance was lacking, with delayed steering response and a tendency to oversteer during sudden maneuvers. Frequent steering corrections were necessary to maintain stability, which could be challenging for less experienced drivers. The tire's braking performance on dry surfaces was also average, affecting its overall safety rating. Although it had good efficiency due to its low weight and fuel consumption, its tread life and durability were just adequate. Ideal for wet and snowy conditions, but less so for dry road performance.
