I’ve driven about 5,000 miles so far, and the wear seems minimal. I was initially skeptical, but they’ve proven to be a great value for money.

I regret buying these tires for my Volvo S80 D5. Initially, they seemed fine, but once I started driving at higher speeds on the motorway, they became unbearable. The tires feel unstable, especially when cornering at speed, and it almost feels like the car is fighting me. They are also noisier than expected, particularly on rougher roads, which is quite disappointing given their high ratings for comfort and quietness. I can't wait for them to wear out so I can replace them with something more reliable.

My 2017 Clio 1.2 Turbo GT Line initially came with Michelin Primacy 3 tires, which were decent but only lasted about 17,000 km. Switching to the Maxxis Premitra 5 was a game changer. Over 26,000 km, these tires have performed incredibly well on both dry and wet surfaces, almost matching the Michelin. The ride comfort and noise levels are comparable, but what really impressed me was the longevity despite my spirited driving style. Even when driving through the Scottish mountains in the rain, they held up perfectly, with no signs of aquaplaning. However, as they near the end of their life, there is a bit more oversteer than I’d like, but it’s manageable.
