Notable Features

Pirelli Cinturato P7 (P7C2) is a high-performance summer eco-tire with, which, according to the manufacturer, raises the bar in terms of rolling resistance, environmental performance, and wet braking. A new summer model 2020.

The Pirelli Cinturato P7C2 model is a new version of the “green” model Cinturato P7, which was put on the market back in 2009. What makes the new “improved” version of the Cinturato tire different from the basic model is its enhanced braking performance, improved handling capabilities in the wet, longer treadlife, as well as reduced rolling resistance, which to a large extent was achieved by a new tread design.

The compact central tread blocks of Pirelli Cinturato P7C2 and its sturdy outside shoulder areas increase the crispness of the steering response and enhance the vehicle’s maneuverability. The modern tread compound of this tire model increases its resistance to wear and improves its grip on all types of surfaces.

The tread design of Pirelli Cinturato P7C2  One can tell the upgraded 2020 version of Pirelli Cinturato P7 from the 2009 model not only by the tread pattern but also by the P7C2 sign on the tire’s sidewall.

Driving on ruts? Way smoother now. I've got a Focus, and let's be honest, it's not the most rut-friendly car. But with these tyres, it's like a different car – way less rocking and rolling over those annoying ruts.
Comments
First off, they feel great to the touch – none of that cheap, plasticky feel you sometimes get. The sidewalls hit this sweet spot: they're sturdy but still give you a really cushy ride. Grip-wise, these tyres are ace, especially when the road's wet. I mean, it's like they just cling to the road, no drama, no slipping. Even when it starts raining out of nowhere, they stay steady, no freak-outs. And no issues with aquaplaning either, which is a relief. They hold up well even in the heat – no melting or turning squishy. They stay nice and springy, just how you want them.

I drive a lot of cars and am always interested in what tires the cars I use have. Good handling and grip made me buy these tires for my private car. Previously, I used P6, which I was happy with, with very little wear and good properties, but after 5 years of use and driving over 60,000 I decided to change to a newer generation.

The tire met my expectations as much as possible. In fact, it did it with great interest. It sticks well to the road both on dry and wet surfaces. It allows for a dynamic ride, while not disturbing a calm ride (it dampens bumps very nicely). I drove on these tires Polish, Western-European and Scandinavian roads and they proved to be great in every possible situation.
