They do make a bit more noise than summer tires, but the trade-off is worth it for the added safety and performance in winter conditions. The tire’s responsiveness is another strong point, making it easy to handle the car in difficult conditions

Ive been running the Winter Sottozero 3 on my Audi A3 for nearly 9 years, using them every winter from November to April. 

These tires have been exceptional in all conditions. The grip on dry, wet, and icy roads is top-notch, providing a safe and stable ride. Handling is precise, and the ride comfort is adequate, though a bit noisy compared to summer tires.

 I initially switched from the Yokohama V105 and noticed a significant improvement in winter performance. They wear fairly quickly if used year-round, but for winter-specific use, they are unbeatable. 

I highly recommend these tires for anyone needing reliable winter performance.

These tires came as original equipment on my Mercedes E200 when I imported it from Germany. While they performed well in wet conditions and on smooth asphalt, they were quite disappointing during the Finnish winter. The rear of my car was unstable on icy roads, making it difficult to drive safely. The tires wore out quickly, particularly the rear ones, which is likely due to the car’s RWD setup. The noise level was also higher than expected, especially on rough surfaces.

I've had these tires for two winters and I'm pleased with their performance in snow and ice very much. They perform good in the wet and have excellent resistance to hydroplaning. The tires are durable. Would buy them again!
