ACE/ARBÖ/GTÜ: All-Season Tire Test R17
Ranked #6th of 9. Vredestein Quatrac Pro+Verdict:The Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ offers a balanced approach to all-season driving, showing decent performance across various conditions. In snowy environments, it provides solid braking and good overall control, though its traction could use some improvement for more challenging winter conditions. It’s a tire that can handle moderate snowfalls, giving you confidence during occasional winter drives without fully excelling in extreme cold weather.
On wet roads, the Quatrac Pro+ holds its own, offering dependable braking and handling. While its hydroplaning resistance is adequate, it doesn’t lead the pack in this area. However, it still manages to provide a safe and comfortable drive in rainy weather.

What is good?
The road noise is minimal, and they provide a smooth ride. Their grip during summer driving is exceptional, especially on highways.
What is bad?
Mounted these on my Subaru Outback, and initially, they seemed fine. After about 8,500 miles of easy driving, issues started. The tires developed vibrations that balancing couldn’t fix. Had them checked multiple times, and finally, it was confirmed that three out of four tires had defects. Vredestein's customer service was unhelpful, directing me back to the dealer without resolving the issue. The tires were installed on fancy Enkei rims, which were cleared of any issues. The quality just wasn’t there for me, and I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience.

Comments
I switched to these tires on my BMW 520d and have driven about 5,000 miles on a mix of city streets and highways. The tires are impressively quiet, although that might be due to the fact they replaced worn-out Michelin RFTs. The grip is excellent for summer driving, holding steady even up to 120 mph. However, I did notice some slipperiness on hot tarmac during cornering. Haven't tested them in winter yet, but given my past positive experiences with Vredestein, I'm not worried. So far, they’ve proven to be a solid year-round choice, and I’m hopeful they'll last beyond a year.
Auto Zeitung: All-Season Tire Test R17
Ranked #6th of 9. Vredestein Quatrac Pro+Verdict:The Vredestein Quatrac Pro+, holding the sixth position, delivers an adequate yet unimpressive performance. It maintains a neutral balance and reliable braking across conditions. The tire provides clear feedback and is responsive to steering inputs, though it occasionally exhibits a tendency to drift during load changes. Its resistance to hydroplaning is moderate. On dry roads, while the Vredestein offers good cornering grip, it falls short in terms of precision and feedback, accompanied by fairly long braking distances. The updated model, though balanced, reveals shortcomings in wet conditions with insufficient grip and subpar braking performance.
