I hoped it would last longer, it was quite pricy. I would not recommend this tire to anyone. Nokian WR2 lasted 5.5 years and performed reliably in its last winter after close to 65000 miles.

It is nice that you give us the top picks, but the price difference between the #1 and #2 option is astronomical on some of these tires. For example, priced out the Michelin CrossClimate + and the cost per tire in the holidays for my size was $250 per tire, or $1000 dollars before you spend to install them. Or I could go with the slightly lower rated Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady, and pay $180 per tire and save $280 on that price for a tire that is almost as good.
